What do we detect?
Our technology is based on the detection of biomarkers that are released when our system is facing an infection, these biomarkers are captured and quantified to generate a correlation with the severity of the infection.
What type of sample is used?
The sample used is peripheral blood; therefore, our technology can be used in almost all types of intervention or illness. We are focused in immunosuppressed patients undergoing treatments such as chemotherapy, dialysis or transplants, as well as people with COVID-19.
Why a monitor?
Our monitor allows the combination of clinical parameters, as well as, molecular parameters, generating alerts in the presence or progress of an infection, to prevent the development of sepsis. This fusion of measurements helps us provide a more accurate diagnosis to the health professional, therefore better treatment decisions.
